  • Customs wants to check "Box #45".
  • Without a Packing List, you have to open ALL boxes to find the right item.
  • With a Packing List: You look at the paper. "Box #45 contains Red T-Shirts". Easy!

Definition: A document detailing the contents, dimensions, and weight of each package in the shipment.
