7-Day Action Plan

Day 1: Decide your domain. (Investments = CFA. Accounting = CA. Risk = FRM).
Day 2: If you are a student, register for NISM Series V-A (Mutual Funds). It's the easiest way to add a "Certification" to your CV.
Day 3: Check the exam dates and fees for CFA Level 1. (It requires a Passport).
Day 4: Talk to a CA. Ask about "Articleship" (the 3-year internship). It's the hardest part.
Day 5: Download the free syllabus PDF for CFA Level 1 or FRM Part 1. Read one chapter.
Day 6: Understand the "Charter" requirement. Passing exams is not enough; you need work experience (4 years for CFA) to use the letters.
Day 7: Commit. These courses require sacrifice. Don't start if you can't finish.
